I would like to open a discussion issue around the current design and functionality of the SuperDatePicker. I’ve finished giving a Kibana training and saw around 50% of the users struggle with doing basic tasks like selecting a “from/to”time range in it. I wonder if we did already do some usability tests on the component—and if not, if you think we could potentially do some usability tests on the design/functionality of the component?
I would be interested in seeing how different users perceive and are able to work with the time picker, especially also checking users not worked with the pre 7.0 time picker but also users who did. Having results of some usability tests might make it easier to objectively evaluate it’s current design again, and maybe see if there are improvements we could still do.
