A document to catch releng issues for 1.19.0

  • Update version number and target platforms:
    • Update the version number of all features to 1.19.0
    • Update the development target platform to Eclipse 2025-03
    • Update milestone to 1.19.0 (issues, pull-requests, etc.)
    • Update Maven dependencies
    • Update SimRel dependencies
    • Update to Nebula 3.2.0
  • Due: 04.01.2025: Release 1.19.0 M1
    • Create release record
  • Due: 25.01.2025: Release 1.19.0 M2
  • Due: 15.02.2025: Release 1.19.0 M3
  • Due: 22.02.2025: Release 1.19.0 RC1
    • Code Freeze
  • Due: 01.03.2025: Release 1.19.0 RC2
    • Quiet period
  • Due: 12.03.2025: 2025-03 Release
    • Tag release commit and mark it as release in Github, create release notes
    • Add new release to the project website
