Annotations not found when used on getters / setters.

The annotations aren't found when placed on getters / setters. I've updated the source code to check both places (fields and/or methods) for the relevant annotations. Should I submit a PR? Is this repository still supported? It seems there has been no activity for many years and there are open pull requests with no communication.
