[Bug] Redirect in the DuckDuckGo Videos page to the position of the video item that was last selected for viewing #5147

Thank you for opening an Issue in our Repository. |
v. 5.219.0 |
Hello. The faulty behavior observed in connection with the use of Duckplayer has been corrected, thus justifying the previous closure of this ticket. However, as I note late, this behavior was not linked to the sole fact of launching Duckplayer to watch a video, but rather to the very fact of a redirection to a video service, and this regardless of the service. For demonstration, open via DDG's Videot tab a content hosted on Dailymotion for example. |

Hi @Ricky-Tigg , this is how it works for now, even though we know it's not perfect. We've passed the issue along internally, and the team will look into prioritising it. |
Describe the bug
Hello. We will notice an inconsistent behavior regarding the Videos page. Leaving the viewing of a video while being in full screen video view, results in a default redirection to the position of the first video item that is presented on the Videos page.
How to Reproduce
Expected behavior
Consistent behavior is expected; hence, once the video view is left, a default redirect to the position of the video item that was lastly selected on the page for viewing. For comparison, such behavior can be observed on https://duckduckgo.com, though while being defined as a search engine in a third-party browser.
