vibration without any reason #731
Comments
I experienced the same problem and found a workaround by deactivating the "sticky note"-option in the settings (I'm not using the English version of the app, so I don't know the exact Term for this option). |
This is a side effect of some quick and dirty changes I had to make in order to comply with SDK target level 26. We'll solve this in the course of #716. For the time being, just disable vibration for pinned tasks. |
Same problem here, will wait for the fix. Thanks a lot for your help and your work on this project! |
Same problem here. Was thinking this was a DavDroid issue and working the problem on their forums @ https://forums.bitfire.at/topic/1899/vibration-on-sync/2 Disabling pinned notifications entirely, and then reenabling them got rid of the vibrate option and solved my issue. |
Same Problem here :) |
Ah this is what that vibration is! Yes I experience the same behaviour :( |
I have the same problem. I use version 1.1.16 installed from the play store. |
Apparently this also solved the issue for me. thx! |
I'm on Android Pie and I don't have any option for vibration in the notification settings for Tasks. |
With the update 1.1.17 on Android 8.1 the problem is still there |
This does seem to have worked. Wish I had an option to disable vibration, but at least it's not vibrating when it's not supposed to. |
Looks like 1.1.17 has been pulled from F-Droid |
Closing this. Please file a new issue if the problem still exists in version 1.1.18. |
Since some weeks, I have been facing the issue that my devices often vibrates without any reason. I have sometimes seen a notification but this notification did always disapear before I was able to read it.
To investigate it further, I installed the app "Notification History" which is logging every notification. Now I see check that app after every vibration without a visible reason and I see always a new notification with following text: "!org.dmfs.task" from the app "org.dms.task".
I found an app review in the german play store describing the same issue.
Device: Galaxy S7 with stock firmware.
I've been using the app without that issue for several years.
Could you please investigate that behavior?
