Is there any implication in replacing the git-subtree command by https://github.com/splitsh/lite?

@marcospassos do you mean to use splitsh behind the scenes for this project instead of using git-subtree? If so, I'm not sure! I had assumed that splitsh was more of a competitor to this project than something this project could use. Am I wrong on that assumption?

exactly! :)

In fact, splitsh is a faster implementation of the git subtree split command, so git-subsplit could use it behind the scenes.

@marcospassos If you'd like to try and implement it, we could give it a try. I'm not using this project a lot at this time so will be hard for me to test, though.
