Hi!
Can two-way-audio work when using WebRTC via HA and frigate is not installed?
Ha entity (Generic Camera) is connected to go2rtc rtsp stream, which is configured to support backchannel audio.
Thank you for your answer!
Oliver

Maybe :-) I have never tested this, nor seen anyone try, but the card itself certainly does not need Frigate, and can talk to any go2rtc (there's a URL parameter) and any stream on it, and obviously already supports 2-way audio -- so if everything upstream of the card already supports 2-way audio, then maybe ... ?
Sorry I don't have a better answer. Try it out and let us know? :-)
Hey Dermot,
I just gave it a try, so what should I say? It didn't work ;-)
I think I have to clarify, what I want to achive:
Because of I want things to keep simple, I decided to use HA's new WebRTC streaming ability in conjunction with go2rtc addon. Additionally, I have a nabucasa membership, which provides turn servers, to stream from anywhere. Therefore no additional setup is necessary to stream behind symetric NAT.
My camera is defined in go2rtc to provide audio, backchannel audio, as well as rtsp video stream.
This stream is configured in HA as rtsp stream, using 'Generic Camera' addin.
Maybe you have an better idea to get two-way audio working using a simple setup?
