Replacing tinyMCE with Redactor in the core

Redactor is pretty awesome. Easy to extend, has good image management that integrates with Sofa pretty much out of the box. However the license costs $499 if I want to embed it into this project. License is permissive enough too, which is nice. Basically you'd get a $99 value just by using this CMS.

I'm not getting paid enough to buy it. Is there a non-shitty, visible way to collect that money?

Since TinyMCE is definitely not 100% awesome I think this could be great. I would be willing to get a license(so I can tax deduct it as an expense) and gift that to the project. Would that work? Could I get a honorable mention on the project site if there ever is one, (now maybe in the README) that links to me?
This is not a hard requirement though, only that I keep the original invoice thing since it effectively makes it much cheaper for me.

I really like working on the project but this is probably the most time effective way to make a real contribution.
