Software summary / short description:

Giada is a free, minimal, hardcore audio tool for DJs, live performers and electronic musicians. How does it work? Just pick up your channel, fill it with samples or MIDI events and start the show by using this tiny piece of software as a loop machine, drum machine, sequencer, live sampler or yet as a plugin/effect host. Giada aims to be a compact and portable virtual device for Linux, Mac and Windows for production use and live sets.

Just a comment: Currently, Giada can't be a machine-wide package without the security risk of giving all users modify rights to the location of the executable because the configuration file is fixed to the same directory.

The problem of the config file location is on the developer's radar. It's hard to say how long until it is resolved.

@luzpaz The fix for the config file location has been committed, but won't be available in a binary executable form (necessary for a Chocolatey package) until v0.26 is released.
