Hi @catppuccin/maintainers!
Hope you're all doing great.
I'd like to introduce everyone to our new custom-built port creation tool, named whiskers, documented via RFC CAT-0003-Whiskers.md. Technically, the RFC is already complete but we'd like for this discussion to act as a central hub for all feedback regarding this new tool.
Essentially, whiskers is a custom-built port creation tool to help maintainers create and maintain Catppuccin ports. I'd greatly appreciate if people could at least read the Introduction, Goals, Non-Goals and Next Steps to gain a better understanding of why we're rolling this out and why we'd like maintainers to adopt this, where it makes sense, into their own ports.
Whiskers lives within catppuccin/toolbox. To install whiskers, see the installation table in the documentation. (Homebrew tap will be updated shortly.)
We'll be updating the documentation on catppuccin/catppuccin with examples of when and when not to use whiskers, along with other solutions like our language libraries.
That's all from me, and please leave any feedback you have regarding the tool below!
