plugin extremely slow for large files #140

Is there any way to disable this plugin when opening a large file (say, >1MB) ?

On my machine (mac M2 Max, 32GB) , it's completely slowing down nvim to the point where it becomes unusable.

note: I already use a plugin (https://github.com/pteroctopus/faster.nvim) to disable treesitter, lsp, syntax, etc... for large files. But they don't disable nvim-highlight-colors.
