Create chocolatey package for Window build of Kubeseal CLI #105
Comments
Any updates on whether this will be made available? |
Just bumping this since now we have official windows builds. |
So I went and made the package for the 0.12.4 release, but I did not push it to the chocolatey servers. Do you guys have any interest in maintaining this? I'm not sure what your relationship is w/ the homebrew package. Basically your push process is updating 2 text files with the new version info & a checksum and then running 2 commands to package & push it to the chocolatey servers. |
The homebrew recipe is community maintained, I don't know who does it not how, the process just seems to work quickly and reliably enough. I'm not against owning the chocolatey package release process, once the scripts to automate this process are contributed. |
@mkmik Thanks for the quick response. I will drop the goods in a repo with some documentation this weekend, then post a link here and we can figure out where to go from there. |
@akrock ping? :) |
@rouke-broersma Yeah I dropped the ball on this one. I made the single package but didn't follow through w/ getting it pushed to chocolatey. |

Hombrew recipes is automatically updated thanks to the BrewTestBot which updates the recipe below: This work was completely donated by external contributions. I agree with @mkmik, we don't have any concern about supporting a chocolatey package and owning the release process. That said, I'm not familiar with this process. I anyone is familiar with it, please feel free to drop a PR adding support for it. |
Any updates on this one? |
We are also interested in the resolution of this issue. |
Once there is a Windows build of the CLI #85 we should create a chocolatey package to simplify the installation
