1) Update designs for the SI filings (initial, change, AR) to identify that the information entered should match what is in the companies internal transparency register. Ideally this should be presented towards the start of the filing.
PROBLEM STATEMENT: Clients may not file their annual report prior to filing their Transparency Register. If they are exempt they will not have been able to specify so may complete a filing that is not needed. If we specify that this should match their internal transparency register, and they do not have one, it might encourage them to call or seek more information on the filing before completing it.
2) Update designs for the unable to obtain or confirm information sections. Suggested text is:
“Enter the steps and efforts taken to obtain or confirm the required information about this individual. When listing steps or efforts be sure to include all corresponding dates.”
Alternatively:
“Enter the steps or efforts, including corresponding dates, taken to obtain or confirm the required information about this individual.”
PROBLEM STATEMENT: Enforcement officers will require information to support that efforts were taken to obtain SI information by the company. Without clear explanations of what is required, clients are unlikely to provide a detailed description. This description should include dates and steps taken.

@saragunnarsson I've updated #2 above with the decision from yesterdays UX/UI meeting. For #1, was the text being updated the text at the top of the form above the FOIPPA statement? If so, legal also had a suggestion here that we'd accepted so I could add that in. Perhaps we don't even need this ticket if these are both covered in the legal feedback and we are going to create tickets for all of that?
