projectile used to work fine in my Dropbox directory; now whenever I type C-c p f, it shows that message in the minibuffer, and I cannot open any files. This used to work; I suppose it stopped working when I upgraded.

This is Projectile version: 20150831.1127

I figured it out -- I have a file named ~/.fossil in the parent of my ~/Dropbox directory, and so projectile, not unreasonably, assumed that ~/Dropbox was part of a fossil checkout.
