install problems Mac 'Secure Keyboard Entry' stopping SSH command

got an older version installed a few months ago, worked brilliantly latest Mac OS and DS220+. Tried to install a newer version and just doesn't work anymore. 'Secure Keyboard Entry' stops pw entry and thus SSH command to work.
any Mac users who have overcome this successfully? What is the exact sequence, like upload Geminilake 7.2, failed, do SSH command, try again or uninstall and install again? Would love to have this amazing piece of software work again as I know it does increase speed amazingly. Thanks in advance for your help

I don't know much about Macs, but I found this article. Could you try disabling this option?
