Hi there, would there be any chance you could add control over serial interface using the programming cable or even a custom made cable that combines serial and audio/mic?
One minimal use case would be just to press the PTT on a frequency to send quasi CW rtty messages.

Indeed I have, while it does what is requested it's a more elaborate work. I'm having a hard time getting documentation for all the, somewhat cryptic, commands like CMD_0514 from uart.c.
