@rob-w Hi Rob. Yes, it's possible. Take a look to this commit. I've just added a SetVol menu to adjust the volume of the BK4819. I don't know yet whether I'll propose it in the next stable release. But you can play with it. You can activate it by setting ENABLE_FEAT_F4HWN_VOL to 1, in the Makefile, before compiling. Armel F4HWN. |

Wow , perfect timing. So this setting only goes against the radio chip and not the fm broadcast ? or is that a global volume ? I will give it a try ! thx for the hint ! |

Hey all
Is there a way to dampen the volume of a vfo incoming by software or chip settings or is the volume purley driven by the knob ?
I am asking, as currently my main usage is listening to FM broadcast while keeping the local freq in VFO. So when the vfo kicks in it nicely switches to it from FM. But the volumes i expierence are too different. The VFO in my case is a few db louder then my FM broadcast... so i would love to have a way to dampen the volume on a vfo, leave the volume on FM the same , hence bring them together in level so it is a more smooth transition back and forth .
cheers rob
ps: adjusting the fm_restore_countdown_10ms from 5s to 1.5s gives me a much better expierence. just my 5 cents
