Any idea how forex statements can be mapped to a txf format? #2

Here are the columns that my platform outputs, do you know how to map them to the txf format ?

If you know the mapping, I can code it up and submit a pull request.

Your image shows a transaction history and not the data from a 1099-B. In particular, there isn't an acquisition date and I'm not sure if there is a cost basis, either. I'll be happy to have another look if you can post a part of the 1099-B from your brokerage company. It should say something like "Check Box A" somewhere.

I found this on forex gains and losses. It indicates that Section 988 should be used that is different from Form 8949. I don't see anything in the TXF specification that would apply here.
