We should adapt our build process to support custom pre/post build hooks declared in the connector directory.
We already have such hooks for post build with the finalize_build.py or finalize_build.sh scripts.

We should:

  • support the same for pre build
  • port this logic to the new build process which is using the base image
  • document, connectors' READM file, how to declare pre/post build hooks.
