The following is a set of guidelines for contributing to cookiecutter-data-science. These are mostly guidelines, not rules. Use your best judgment, and feel free to propose changes to this document in a pull request.
- Ensure the issue was not already reported by searching on GitHub under Issues.
- If you're unable to find an open issue addressing the problem, create a new issue. Be sure to include a title and clear description, as much relevant information as possible, and a code sample or an executable test case demonstrating the expected behavior that is not occurring.
Issues to submit include:
- Bugs and errors in functionality
- Spelling, grammar, formatting
- Features, enhancements and improvement suggestions and requests
- Notify others by commenting on the issue. By commenting on the issue, you will initiate a discussion around possible solutions and also communicate to other contributors that you started working on it. This will avoid having multiple people work on the same thing.
