Hi, Aaron here. Feel free to use this as a place to:

• Correct any errors I’ve undoubtedly made
• Provide amendments for clarity or helpfulness
• Submit helpful information that belongs on my site
• Suggest additional mapmaking topics I should cover
• Note Marathon-related music I haven’t included on my soundtracks page

Rules:

1. I ask primarily that users be respectful, both of me and of others. Implications of this include, but are not limited to:
   • Avoid gratuitous insults.
   • Don’t use slurs.
   • Keep criticisms constructive.
     • “X is bad” isn’t constructive: it provides no feedback as to what’s bad about X, why it’s bad, or how to fix it.
     • “X would be better if Y” is somewhat helpful: it at least provides a blueprint for improvement.
     • “X would be better if Y, because Z” is even more helpful: it also argues why the change would be an improvement.
   • Try to keep submissions reasonably SFW.
   • In places where I’ve made errors, corrections would be most helpful with citations from the source code or base game files (e.g., physics models), if you are able to provide them.
2. This is ultimately my webpage, and I maintain it on my own time for free, so I reserve the right to say things like:
   • “I don’t have time to do that right now.”
   • “I disagree with this advice.”
   • “That’s outside my page’s purview.”
   • “Stop being a jerk, or I’ll revoke your access to this section.”
