  • Distribution (e.g. Ubuntu): debian + flatpak
  • Opted into Steam client beta?: No
  • Have you checked for system updates?: apt + flatpak are up-to-date
  • Steam Logs: ***
  • GPU: amd integrated + nvidia discrete

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Suddenly started to fail today, after updates I guess, with the same message as in #5943, ValveSoftware/Dota-2-Vulkan#371

Hello @sequencerr, you haven't provided any context as to what exactly is failing, but you've implied that whatever it is, it's Vulkan related.

From your steam-runtime-system-info-1737740269.txt:

Vulkan is broken in general in the environment you're running Steam. This is a packaging issue outside of Steam.

If you're using the NVIDIA proprietary driver and recently changed the installed driver version, you may need to reboot and/or run an update cycle on Flatpak for it to pick up on the system changes. If that doesn't help, then follow up with your distro's community.

Closing as not a Steam client issue.
