Is your feature request related to a problem?

we were able to save projects with all the pieces in a specific location, this was useful for prints with several parts, now when I load a project they fix the location all the parts inside de bed, this is frustrating because now we lost were we are in the prints

Describe the solution you'd like

keep the current location of the parts on saved projects

Describe alternatives you've considered

I need to move everithing again every time I open a project

Affected users and/or printers

This looks to be aimed at the same basic issue as described in #19456. If so, it would appear that there might already be a solution in the pipeline.

In the interim, if my findings are universal (I can only test on my own installations) then you might be able to work around it by either Grouping the objects you want to remain in their relative locations before saving to a Project (either type), or by ensuring you import the resulting file as a Project rather than as models. Both of these should retain the model positions after importing, rather than auto-arranging as it would when importing multiple different STL files at once.

NB If you're not getting the option to import as a Project or models, open the Preferences and look for the drop down under Default behaviour when opening a project file: - this can be set to one of the two options for all Projects, or to ask you each time.
