Need to choose which interaction is best for interacting with the sites - click or mouseover. Also, consider only having site interaction when zoomed in since there are a lot of overlapping points. Could consider auto-zooming the user when they try to click on an area with too many points? Might be an annoying and unexpected behavior though.
