what we try to do here is to create a platform and a framework for online congresses, fairs, events.

the content itself is not part of the platform and thus, creation of the content is not in scope of the project.

in scope:

  • present pre-made content (a stream coming from somewhere, a web presentation, a live talk)
  • link to outside content (open a new browser window)

not in scope:

  • create content (creating a slide show, creating an online shop, creating a company web site, ...)
  • sales, contracts, lotteries (and other stuff with big legal implications)

Limiting the scope also means a higher chance that it can be realized at all.

The more there is to do, the longer it takes.

Also: feature creep ("featuritis") is a anti-feature, keep it simple.
