Is my Telescope control plugin setup correct?

Hello!
I am trying to use the Telescope control Plugin of Stellarium 24.4 (QT5 or QT6 is the same).
What is happening as soon as I am connecting the telescope is that Stellarium starts to spam the serial link (COM5 in this case) with a lot of IRP_MJ_READ as you can see by the images. This happens independently from the type of telescope selected in the configuration window. So, I am guessing I am doing something wrong setting up the telescope.

Could you help me, please?

Does the telescope respond, do you see the telescope marker on screen? If not, is your telescope directly supported?
You are probably in the top 0.01% of Telescope control plugin users to diagnose serial connections. Seriously, I don't know what you are doing to list those diagnostics.

You still have not replied whether apart from these messages the telescope connects and works. And you contradict yourself. Above you say the "spamming" happens as soon as the cable is plugged in, and now you say it starts when you press connect.
When the telescope is not answering but the "spamming" only happens after you press connect, your very easy method to install some program that monitors the serial port can be used to see what's going on and compare to what should go on, i.e. what messages are actually formed in Stellarium's code.
Filing a bug will not help much. The original developers have long left the project, so it's up to anybody to study and fix such errors. You are better equipped than we are to solve your problem: you have this telescope and a port monitor. And you have the motivation to get it to work. You can read the source code here or after cloning on your system.

Alternatively, you can install a Qt5-based build of 24.4 and connect via ASCOM.

ANSWER: if the telescope was working, why I need to discuss this whole issue? So the answerr is that Stellarium is not able to connect and control the telescope

ANSWER: Sorry, but I disagree with your wording. You shouldn't say "contradict". Please be more polite. I didn't tell you that the spamming is happening "as soon as" the cable is plugged in. I wrote you "Only having the USB to RS232 cable plugged in my USB port of the PC is enough to declare the telescope connected and Stellarium starts to spam". Sorry for the misleading phrasing, but I meant that as setup you don't need to have the telescope to trigger the issue, only the cable. the strange thing is that Stellarium is declaring CONNECT after click START even without a telescope cabled on serial link

Unfortunately I am not a software developer, I cannot read the source code.
ANYWAY, my post started with "So, I am guessing I am doing something wrong setting up the telescope." because, honestly speaking, I think there are a lot of people using Stellarium to control directly their telescope via RS232 or USB, or not? So, I think my issue could be related to some setup/issue already known...without going on the source code and debugging what should be already working...

thank you for this hint. I am checking if ASCOM driver is supporting my telescope. I already checked, but let's check again
