Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I would like to have the option for the application to check for updates on launch (with another option to turn this feature off in the settings).
Describe the solution you'd like
Perhaps just take you to the download site.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Another option would be for it be able to download the latest EXE file and replace it automatically from whatever folder it's in, then relaunch. You might need to present the latest LICENSE file and ask them to agree to it first. An idea of how to do this can be found at https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/265751/Application-Auto-update-via-Online-Files-in-Csharp.
Additional context
I'm not 100% sure how this would work since the file is not installed but a portable executable.
