Zotero seems to have lost its ability to save multiple results from a search results page?
Tried on both Google and DDG, in Firefox and Safari (MacOS), no joy. Will only "save as web page."
Anybody got a workaround? I kinda need this. An extension that exports to something Zotero-importable would do.
ETA: Does work on Google Scholar. Generic Google and DDG, no joy.

so the bad news is that it's probably the result encoding -- though perhaps a plugin can help with smoothing that out.
We ran into this when trying to make search results in our catalog saveable, at least the first page, and it seems like our fix is still working.

not sure -- there's some issues with getting it onto subsequent pages so we tagged it as a thing to figure out later (but first page of results was working). Has something to do with the syntax IIRC, like how Solr was formatting our results which we then rendered -- but if DDG and Google and such changed something about their result rendering that might be generating what Dorothea is experiencing.

Okay, so it's not character encoding, it's a Zotero's-SERP-HTML-translator-appears-busted issue?

Yeah, I took a look [at the GScholar-translator] and I suspect it'd 90% work just by changing the URL expression.
