Soon .NET 6 will be released. .Net 5 already supported superhost for Linux which is essentially combining all libraries etc into one file. .NET 6 will support this also for Windows and Mac. I think this would be very nice as I think that having a folder with a bunch of files next to the executable is not very user friendly.

.Net 6 is now released but it is only supported Visual Studio 2022. I don't know how support is looking for other IDEs but I would suggest postponing this feature until most people have IDEs that support it.
