Is pixate-freestyle-android under active development or developers forgot about it?

I would like to know if the project "pixate-freestyle-android" is under active developement.
It is an amazing tool, but it is not complete.

It is not closed, just placed into the public domain for development.

Does it mean that Pixate developers STILL contribute to the project and any other developer can do the same ?
Or does it mean that Pixate developers has STOP contributing to the project and only other developer contribute to the project ?

We contribute if/when we can, and we're actively recruiting for more contributors outside of the original Pixate group.

i would like to contribute but i need some more documentations really need more doc to make it easier to develop.
