Hi,

I would like to request OpenRA icons, for at least the three official stable mods: Red Alert (icon name: openra-ra), Tiberian Dawn (icon name: openra-cnc) and Dune 2000 (icon name: openra-d2k). Here are the original icons (at highest resolution to give you the most detailed image to mimic), with their icon name mentioned first:

  • openra-d2k:

  • openra-cnc:

  • openra-ra:

OpenRA is a free and open-source game engine coded in C# that runs using the Mono framework. It is very extendable and comes with three official, stable mods that try to recreate early real-time strategy Westwood games, they are: Dune 2000 (which recreates a game of the same name), Tiberian Dawn (which recreates the original Command & Conquer) and Red Alert (which mimics Command & Conquer: Red Alert).

There are several unofficial mods and if you's feel very enthusiastic you may create icons for them (although I'm fine with just the above ones being developed, after all these are all unofficial mods fairly few people are likely to use), like (icon name mentioned first again):

  • openra-raclassic (which is more true to the original Red Alert game than the mod that comes bundled with the engine), which has pretty much the same icon as openra-ra.

  • openra-ura (a modified version of Red Alert):

  • openra-ts (for Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, this is actually included in the OpenRA game engine repository, but it is experimental so not included in most OpenRA packages):

  • openra-mw (a game depicting medieval warfare and constructed from scratch):

There are probably others but these are the main ones I'm aware of.

Thanks for your time,
Brenton
