I am a Full Time Developer and I would like to contribute to Outreachy. Would this be difficult to manage?

@sangeethaKP That's a good question! Unfortunately, I haven't tried managing both so I am not qualified to answer it. However, there are certain eligibility restrictions for Outreachy like you should not have another full-time job for at least seven weeks. Just wanted to make sure you are aware of them!

@nanjekyejoannah since you are doing Outreachy, what do you think? Also, if you know anyone doing outreachy + having a full-time job, it would be great if you could cc them here! :)

@sangeethaKP I do not have any friends doing a full time job while doing outreachy but I will share my thought. First of all outreachy requires that you work 40 hours in a week that is 8 hours daily and I believe your full time job also takes equally the same time. Infact if you are taking full time position..you wont be eligible.

Outreachy also has deliverables that if you don't concentrate you may not be in good standing with your mentor and yet time and again you will be evaluated by the same mentor.

Therefore simply put, you are not eligible for outreachy if you have a full time job because outreachy requires your full time engagement as well and if you do not disclose and are accepted to work you will not be efficient and may fail to be in good standing with your mentor in terms of deliverables.

Thanks @nikhita @nanjekyejoannah for your inputs! :) Clearly, it doesn't seem to be possible, will look for a repository to contribute to!
