There is an option to display the previous page while the next page is being edited. However, you need three monitors for this. OpenBoard normally behaves in such a way that the current page is displayed on the second screen and the previous page on the third screen. If you use the third screen as a presentation screen, you can always work on the next page in secret. I don't think this behavior is intended for this use. But it should work. Unfortunately, you can no longer visibly edit the current page in this configuration. The whole thing makes me wonder whether it would be an idea to implement the possibility that when I edit page n, another page n+k is displayed on the second screen, whereby k can be enlarged or reduced by some keyboard shortcut. It would probably be difficult to quickly introduce a button with which you could operate this with a mouse click. There would be a lot of discussion about what it should look like and where it should go. But perhaps it could be triggered by holding down the next-page button. The button is already there and it does not do anything when holding it down. Perhaps that would be feasible, because the ability to display another page on another screen is already there. |

The freeze function would be great. It also meets the desired simplicity of the usability concept. You could also make it so that freeze is activated and deactivated with the space bar. This button is still unused, I think. Then no changes to the user interface would be necessary. Perhaps both ideas could be combined: If you press the button once, the zoom level and the rectangle are locked. If you press it a second time, the image is completely frozen. The third time you press it, you return to the default setting. Perhaps the hand tool could also be made usable on the second screen. |

Hello,
I am discovering openboard and using it for my RPG games on an external screen. It is a really relevant tool for my sessions (children and adults) as GM.
I have two questions (or possible ideas).
Is it possible to freeze the broadcast page while I edit the next one?
I would like to avoid that when I move the page, it also moves to the other screen. Is it possible ?
Thanks in advance.
