What feature would you like to add to the ONS Design System?
Add meta data to the
Cardcomponent. This would be similar to the functionality found in theDocument Listcomponent.Alternatively, create a new variant for the
Document Listcomponent so you can have 3 columns next to one another like you can for theCardcomponent.Why should this new feature be added to the Design System?
The homepage of the IDS website wants to have a section which shows off the 3 latest pieces of news. Currently we are able to do this using the
Cardcomponent but they would like to be able to show the date the piece of news was written. We can't do that at the moment because the ability to have meta data isn't there for theCardcomponent. You can have it for theDocument Listcomponent but it doesn't have a variant for the look they want. See screenshot.Supporting material
