It's not entirely clear that the other input will appear / has appeared when selecting the "other" option in checkbox and radio lists.

This appears to have been raised in the past but the trello cards were archived with no indication why they'd been archived:

I'll ask around and find out why and see how we can improve the accessibility on these components
