maybe we should switch to http://hackage.haskell.org/package/fsnotify-0.2.1.1/docs/System-FSNotify.html after all.

nope, it's FSNotify which doesn't support this.
I'm pretty sure that this doesn't work in haskell atm :-(
Not sure if it's a huge deal to people to restart jetpack if they add a new folder? Thoughts @juanedi @BrianHicks

entr’s man page has a nice example of how to do this. Perhaps we could do something similar?
