Installing WW3 from the tar bundle

Download the tar.gz bundle and unpack:

https://github.com/NOAA-EMC/WW3/releases/download/6.07/wwatch3.v6.07.tar.gz

Copy the tar from your download area to the install directory and:

tar -zxvf wwatch3.v6.07.tar.gz

Run the install script:

./install_ww3_tar

A complete set of instructions on how to compile the code for applications from this point on is provided in Section 5 of the manual(clicking link download the manual.pdf).
