The character can't shoot #1

If a character shoots past 2 times, then he can no longer shoot. UFOs get a lot and they kill.
Are there any other ways to continue the game to restore the weapon?
The characters are very small. It’s hard to hit the target, especially when there are a lot of UFOs and they shoot.

Sorry I abandoned this old game I made! Whey you deflect a UFO shot you get an additional shot to use. You can also ram UFOs with the shield enabled and get shots that way.
Maybe a high DPI issue. What kind of display do you have?
