The “Forward” button isn’t actionable after navigating back to a Youtube video #1956

[Affected Versions]:

  • Firefox Reality version 5-32821846 RC1 (58b59br3)

[Affected Platforms]:

  • Oculus Quest - Android 7.1.1
  • HTC Vive Focus Plus - Android 7.1.2

[Prerequisites]:

  • The headset is turned on and the browser is opened.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Navigate to any Youtube video.
  2. Navigate to any website.
  3. Click the “Back” button and observe the “Forward” button .

[Expected results]:

  • The “Forward” button is active and actionable.

[Actual results]:

  • The “Forward” button is grayed out and not actionable.

I have verified that this issue is no longer reproducible with the latest Firefox Reality version 7 RC4 (143a88a) installed on the Oculus Go, Quest, HTC Vive Focus and Focus Plus headsets.
Now, the “Forward” button is actionable after navigating back to a Youtube video.
