Hi,

One interesting project could be to write a gateway that translates WebRTC streams to an icecast/shoutcast server. It would allow people who stream to icecast/shoutcast to do it directly with a browser. Icecast/shoutcast is used a lot by (web)radios.

An interesting extension could be to work on a Mumble gateway. Mumble is used a lot by online gamers. And as more and more games are running on top of Firefox, integrating Mumble could be the next step.

Hello, I've built a Shoutcast gateway for the licode WebRTC platform for my company http://unltd.fm
but it still needs some finetuning and maintenance. I don't have much time to do it now and I would be willing to opensource it. Let me know if anybody is interested.

Hi Yannick.

Sorry for the lack of answer, we had to pause the project with lresc.

Are you still considering to opensource your code ? I may know somebody who may be interested to work in.

Thanks,
