NodeMCU case assembly

Tools

For this assembly, you need the following tools:

  • 2.5mm  Allen key
  • pliers (optional)

Parts

Check the complete parts list with detailed description and where to find them in the PARTS documentation

For this step, you need to print the parts listed here:

  • controller_base (x1)
  • controller_base_hooks (x2)

Also, you need M3x10 screws (5 items) and M3 nuts for them mc_base_parts

Assembly

Position the board extension to the base as it is shown on the picture mc-base-step-1 mc-base-step-1-1

Insert the screws and tighten the nuts on the opposite side mc-base-step-2 mc-base-step-2-1

Put the nuts inside hooks mc-base-step-3 mc-base-step-3-1

Insert screws into remaining basement holes. Secure hooks with these scews. Don't fully tighten them mc-base-step-4 mc-base-step-4-1 mc-base-step-4-2

Position the basement on the edge of the front part of the headset strap using hooks mc-base-step-5 mc-base-step-5-1

Fully tighten the screws mc-base-step-6

Insert the ESP board to the extension board mc-base-step-7

Connect the extension board to the on-board BOBOVR battery or external powerbank mc-base-step-8
