Any chance of releasing this app as a Snap or Flatpak?

If you're on a distro which has aur, you can get this application from there, which is basically the same thing as downloading this repository, compiling and installing manually.

AFAIK because fancontrol-gui uses KAuth for writing to system configuration files a snap or flatpak isn't really feasible.

What about adding a debian folder, that way anyone can then build a deb.

I've split this into two:

...because Snap and Flatpak are entirely different beasts, and because Flatpak might not even be feasible yet. @junocomp, this should be closed consequently.
