Address Types - survey

Hello,

Currently, in MEF 79 we have four Address Types defined (Fielded, Formatted, Geographic Point, and Geographic Address Identifier). Two of these types, Fielded and Formatted, are very similar in the information that they contain. We've extracted the tables from MEF 79 showing the Address Type attributes below. We have been discussing whether both of these Address Types are required or if we can remove the Formatted Address from MEF 79, and therefore the other documents in the Sonata series.

There is also a request to remove from the Fielded Address the Street Number Suffix, Street Number Last, Street Number Suffix Last, Street Type, Street Suffix, and Postal Code Extension attributes, as these are not easy to manage on a universal basis across the world.

The team would appreciate any thoughts that you have on this topic.
