Add to/edit introduction slides, save as PDF, and replace slides on this repo with the updated ones.

Possible edits that you can take or leave, depending on what you'd like to present:

  • What is MDAnalysis and MDAKits (brief), and why should you follow software best practices (FAIR?)
  • Any additional relevant housekeeping/logistics notes
    • fire/safety
    • link to wifi instructions
    • photographs and pictures
    • Covid
  • Update "Ask questions" housekeeping to reflect recommended communication channels ( i.e., I think we decided on Zoom Q&A and Discord during hybrid portions, and only Discord/GitHub Discussions during hackathon...but correct this if this is the wrong interpretation from Planning Meeting 5 )
  • Add MolSSI resources to final announcements (which could also be split into a set of closing slides if you'd rather)
  • Intro to hackathon and whiteboard system to start tracking ideas of what people would like to work on (could also go into Intro to MDAKits if preferred)
  • sponsorship/acknowledgements: MolSSI, CZI, CBP + NumFOCUS

I think the plan is for @orbeckst to present these slides, so I will assign to him, but others should also please weigh in if there are changes/additions you would like to see incorporated (@fiona-naughton, @IAlibay, @yuxuanzhuang, @armcdona, @sjayellis).
