hello, good afternoon

This is not an issue but a suggestion, and I think that, thanks to the biomes o' plenty and similar mods, the world is very "wide", more than normal, which is fine, but to GO TO THE END it is a problem if you add the mod that adds the "custom pearls"

You see, if the world were normal, it would make sense, since you can explore it and in a range of 10000x10000 you find the 12 pearls quite easy, BUT, with this modpack I had to travel 12000 blocks on horseback ONLY for a jungle in which yes well there was a temple, it was not vanilla, therefore there was NOT the pearl inside it, and then using the nature compass I had to move others 20,000 blocks to find an igloo which was bugged and therefore empty

Exploring in itself is fine, and I know there are vehicles, but the Rustic Engineer's are very buggy (in months of exploring I only found ONE dragonfly and about 50 submarines, and when I tried to put it away with the wrench it wouldn't let me, so I I hit it and it broke completely, getting lost in the process and leaving me without it) and the ones from the immersive airplanes, or do you use the one that moves at half a kilometer per hour, or you use the one that goes at 500km/h, which seems like a good idea, but the world with so many mods is not capable of loading at that speed unless you have a 4080 and 32 ram (I have seen people with modpacks that have the same problem)

Therefore, if more people believe they have the same point of view, my suggestion is to add the structure compass (which I already installed manually), which is from the same creator of nature compass. or reduce the number of 12 to 6-8 different eyes needed for the end

thanks for reading~ :D

IMO the structure compass is very much a cheat item, and is unnecessary. I'll explain why I think that;

Many of the included mods already let you find their structures in a non-cheat way...

You can get explorer, etc maps from cartographers that point to the mega structures.

The alternative dimensions don't require the cheat compass, because they are small and only have a few structures to find. If you use an immersive aircraft or elytra, you will find everything right away.

Bosses of Mass Destruction, L'enders Cataclysm, etc all already have items that will lead you to each boss. The new caves all have tablets that you find, to lead you to them, etc.

It seems to me the only point in adding the cheat compass is just to make it so easy to find everything and that will take away the challenges and journey that the mods all added for you to do. In other words, to remove the challenging gameplay that the mod creators created for you to play with.

To respond to a your other points:

thanks to the biomes o' plenty and similar mods, the world is very "wide", more than normal

The biomes do not increase in size, they actually become smaller on average, because there are more biomes in the same temperature zones. The only way biomes will become bigger, is if large biomes is used on worldgen.

this modpack I had to travel 12000 blocks on horseback ONLY for a jungle

Having an explorers compass would not solve that problem, instead you use the natures compass which is already in the mod. Or use a pathfinder map to find the closest jungle to you.

Rustic Engineer's are very buggy (in months of exploring I only found ONE dragonfly and about 50 submarines

In a few days of exploring, I found more than a dozen of each of the 4 books, there must be something wrong there, perhaps open a bug report if this is still happening, on the rustic engineer mod page (not here).

immersive aircraft

This is a better transport mod than rustics, for sure. The quadrocopter aircraft that is slow, is not meant for travelling - the tooltip explains this to you. There are multiple other aircraft to build, and they are very good for travelling and exploring, but they are not faster than an elytra. If the world is loading slowly for you, it will do the same if you are boating or using an elytra, so you might want to change your view distance to be lower - or play on a server instead.

reduce the number of 12 to 6-8 different eyes needed for the end

You might want to make a suggestion on the mod page for end remastered, which is the mod that adds this - steampunk modpack is only the modpack that adds that mod, and can't really change that.

There are 16 eyes, and you need 12 to open the portal. In my gameplay, I got pretty much all of the 16 eyes already in just exploring around my base over a few days. It's not super hard to get them. Just open chests in different biomes, ie; ocean, nether, caves and overworld, etc - and then you will get them all. There are 1 or 2 that you trade or craft yourself if you have difficulty to get them all.

This mod is meant to extend the time you play the modpack - to make the journey more packed with exploration and adventure, rather than letting you speedrun the ender dragon then the game is over already.
