Incorrect Slide Animation when Navigating with Arrow Keys

When we bind the left and right arrow keys, the slide animation behaves incorrectly by moving in the wrong direction. To better illustrate this issue, I have prepared a sandbox example that demonstrates the problem. Please access the following link to the sandbox: sandbox link.
