The installer takes quite a bit of time to load all the games I have installed on my pc. I would rather just add the games I want manually instead of it grabbing a list on it's own. Ideally on first launch it would ask like "Would you like to scan your pc for currently installed games (yes/no)"

I'm pretty sure the game scanner is very fast. It is most likely the task responsible for getting all the MelonLoader releases and CI builds. We're currently looking into optimizing this.

I managed to optimize it by A LOT. Give it a shot and let me know if it's better for you.

If it's still slow for you, do you have many non-Steam games by any chance? Those use a built-in icon extractor, which tends to be slow. Maybe worth looking into

oh yeah It's a bit faster, still I think it would be nice to have an option to show only manually added games, because I don't intend to add mods to most of the unity games I have on steam anyway

An option for game filtering is on my to-do list. Should help most people finding their games with bigger lists. The reason why I don't want to exclude games is because the entire point of it is to make locating games easier

it would be cool to see a checklist
like you can include steam and exclude epic
