Thanks for the contributor-friendly and automated process to submit packages for registration!

I submitted my first package yesterday (I hope I did it correctly...) and I have a suggestion for improvement:

For newbies like me, it would be helpful if the Registrator would send a brief “request received” message so submitters would know if their package is in the review pipeline. (Could probably be limited to new packages for which the review process needs to be more thorough anyways.)

At the moment, I am wondering if I implemented the instructions correctly (first time I am doing this) and I don’t want to experiment with other ways to trigger the Registrator (PR, issue etc) because I am concerned this would spam the reviewers with redundant registration requests.

Thanks again for your work on the package registration process!

Sorry - just realized I misunderstood the instructions. If my registration had worked correctly, I should see a pull request in the general repository (which I don't). I'll close this.
