example with binomial family

Hello, is it possible to share a small example using the binomial family? I am not sure how to include the Ntrials parameter in the model call - keep getting the error message that the matrix should have the same number of colomns than the response variable which is the case (using 5 species). Thanks a lot in advance! Julie

Thanks for posting your question, Julie! I have converted it to a discussion topic, as it is not technically an issue.

Here is an example:

library(gllvm)
data(eSpider)
model<-gllvm(eSpider$abund[eSpider$nonNA,],family="binomial",Ntrials=apply(eSpider$abund,2,max))

if you have row- and column-specific number of trials, I can make an adjustment to the code to accommodate that, but currently the package does not accept a matrix as input, only a vector (of length # species) or a scalar.
