Feature idea: Filter by event type via legend panel

Hello! An idea that Axis suggested we could put here for discussion:

Would it be something valuable to be able to filter by type by directly interacting with the Legend?

It would raise some questions:

• How does that would work with the filter pannel? Independently, complementary?
• Is there any aspects that you foresee as being problematic?

Also, currently there is #124 that is being discussed and we should be aware of the dependency between those 2.

The filter panel should always reflect the current filter, an example of this can be observed when you click on a node and use it as a root for the AsRoot filter. So If my memory doesn't fail me it can be done quite easily (:tm:)
